Linoleum floor cleaning

How do you maintain a linoleum floor?

Linoleum is a type of elastic flooring, largely made from natural raw materials, which are environmentally friendly, hard-wearing and very strong. Manufacturers treat these floors with a topcoat that, unfortunately, gets worn away over the years due to wear and tear. Once it’s gone, dirt has free rein, and the floor gets scratched and starts to look less attractive. This can be easily prevented with proper maintenance. It extends the life of your floor too.

For the best results

Step one

Basic maintenance

Basic treatment complements regular cleaning, removes dirt, and repairs minor damage. Our flooring experts ensure your floor looks beautiful again after treatment.

Step two

Thorough maintenance

We perform thorough maintenance once every 5 to 7 years, depending on the quality and condition of the floor. Our flooring experts then give the floor an extra layer of protection, better protecting it against dirt and damage. This extends the life of your floor by an average of 4 to 6 years!

Step three

Advice & training

Our floor experts know everything about your floor. We are happy to share our knowledge with you and your regular cleaning company. This is how we get the best out of your floor.

There is a misconception about applying polymer floor coatings. People often think this is cheaper and floors stay better looking for longer. This isn’t really true. This is why we work with permanent coatings, since they're sustainable and more convenient. Our TCOs show this is more cost effective too, providing it’s applied and maintained by a specialist, since it’s a knowledge and skill intensive process.
